Quetta Church attack widely condemned

Local leaders of major political parties have condemned the suicide attack at Bethel Memorial Methodist Church, Zarghoon Road Quetta that claimed more than 8 lives on Sunday afternoon. Member National Assembly (MNA) Malik Ibrar strongly condemned the bomb blast which resulted in the loss of precious human lives and injured several others.
He said those involved in the killing of innocent people were devoid of humanity and religion. He further said the barbaric acts of terrorism would not deter the government's resolve to ensure peace in the country. Incharge Holy Family Church Sajid Ameen Khokhar said Quetta church attack was an attempt to obscure Christmas celebrations but Christian community would not be frightened by the terrorists. He expressed sympathies with those injured and demanded of the government and concerned to provide all possible assistance to them.
