Trailer out: Ranveer Singh returns to impress fans as a corrupt cop in ‘Simmba’

The trailer of Rohit Shetty's action entertainer ‘Simmba’ has just dropped, leaving fans wanting more of Ranveer Singh as the corrupt police officer in the film.

The fans got more enthralled as there is a smashing cameo by ‘Singham’ star Ajay Devgn in it. The three-minute trailer begins with a clip of Ajay from 'Singham' with his narration and ends with his special appearance in Simmba in his Singham avatar.

But if Bajirao Singham was all about honesty, Ranveer as Sangram Bhalerao is the complete opposite. He plays a corrupt officer, who mends his ways after his so-called-sister dies after getting raped.

Actor Sara Ali Khan is playing Ranveer’s love interest in the movie, while Sonu Sood plays the protagonist. While Ranveer’s Marathi accent is spot on, his beefed-up physique and a moustache is something his fans will get to see after a long time.

‘Simmba’ will be Ranveer’s first release post his wedding with Deepika Padukone. The makers of this Rohit Shetty directorial launched its trailer on Monday before the actor begins mega promotions for the film.
