At least four people of same family were killed in collision between a trailer and a car in Khanewal late on Sunday night.
The tragic accident occurred when a trailer while overtaking another vehicle collided head-on with a car coming from opposite direction in Kabirwala area of Khanewal, killing a woman, her son, daughter and 10-year-old grandson. Her second daughter also sustained critical wounds. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. The deceased included Fatima Bibi (mother), Haji Sultan (son) and Samar Sultan (grandson).
