Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in its struggle for provision of justice in Model Town killings and would participate in PAT-sponsored all parties conference (APC) scheduled for December 30 in Lahore.
This was stated by the PML-Q leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi while talking to the PAT secretary general Khurram Nawaz Gandapur who called on them here on Monday and formally extended invitation for participation in the PAT's APC.
During the meeting, both the sides exchanged views on current political situation and were unanimous in accelerating their struggle for getting rid of the PML-N government. After the meeting, Pervaiz Elahi told media that his party is standing with the PAT from day first for provision of justice in Model Town killings case.
He slammed Sharif brothers and said both are trying to hoodwink the masses. He said, "The government has done right thing by putting the name of Professor Dr Tahir ul Qadri in the ECL, as he (Qadri) would not proceed abroad without getting justice."
Elahi said both the Sharifs are playing game with each other and they would soon meet their logical end. Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said on the occasion that things have been cleared after making public of Justice Baqar Najaffi report. He claimed that most part of this report has not been made public. "We would go to every extent for justice in Model Town killings," he said.
