Americans should stand with the world conscious by vocally rejecting the decision of Donald Trump to declare Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) Shabbir Hussain Chawla has welcomed the resolution for supporting the decision made by UN General Assembly on the status of Jerusalem with majority vote in favour of Palestinians and said that Israel has forcibly occupied their land and it could not be legitimized as world body has already rejected it.
He said that Pakistani co-sponsored resolution was supported by 128 nations which clearly reflect that the people of this world fully understand that Israel has forcefully occupied Palestinian land. He further added that Pakistan's stand is based on the fundamental principle of self-determination. "It may be Palestine or Kashmir, people of Pakistan will continue to support them for their right of freedom", he added.
He said that accepting an annexed capital of Israel is totally against the international laws and in this connection Donald Trump is opposing world conscious. He said that people of America should understand this grave situation arising out of this undemocratic decision made by Donald Trump.
The people of USA should keep alive their spirit of liberalism and force Donald Trump to change his decision and give a clear message to the international community that American people stand with the Palestinian people who are struggling for their right of self-determination.
He said that Americans should record their protest within their country to give a clear message to international community that they are not with Donald Trump and support world conscious which is also the soul of American constitution. Shabbir Hussain Chawla also endorsed Pakistan's just stance and said that all political parties should support the current Government to strengthen its rejection of American pressure on this issue of international importance.
He also expressed the importance of political stability and said that the business community of Faisalabad should fully support their Palestinian brothers and sisters who are facing tyrant oppression of Israeli brute forces.
