Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has felicitated Ghazanfar Bilour, the newly elected President and other office bearers of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI). In his message of felicitations to the office bearers, Shahbaz said that FPCCI plays an important role in national economy and economic stability. He hoped that the newly elected body will play its role in safeguarding professional interests of the trading community and strengthening of the national economy. He said the government is fully committed for rapid national development and all-out resources are being utilized for it. "We shall also provide necessary support to the FPCCI to maintain economic stability in the country," he added.
Moreover, Shahbaz Sharif has condemned the incident of blast in Mall Road area of Chaman and prayed for early recovery of the injured security officials and other persons. He has prayed that may Almighty Allah save Pakistan from the incidents of terrorism and added that nation has showed its solid commitment in war against terrorism during the previous year. "Our commitment and courage are stronger than the challenge of terrorism and this menace will be eradicated with the power of unity in 2018," he added.
Furthermore, Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the death of a police official in car run-over incident in Defence-A area of the provincial metropolis and has sought a report from the CCPO Lahore.
