Anti-Encroachment operation in progress in Hyderabad city

On the directives of the Water Commission of the Supreme Court, the anti-encroachment operation remained in progress along the canal sides of Hyderabad city and the district administration reclaimed thousands acres of encroached land from the possession of the grabbers.
Spokesman of the district administration, the anti-encroachment squad has succeeded in reclaiming the encroached area right from Ghafoor Shah Colon to Benazir Flyover along the embankment of Akram Wah also called as Line Channel. During the operation supported by the Police, the anti-encroachment squad headed by In-charge Toheed Ahmed has unearthed illegally established cattle sheds, poultry farms, houses and double and triple storied buildings in the areas.
