The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has collected Rs 49.5 billion during the first half of current fiscal comparing with Rs 36.5 billion during the corresponding period. It was disclosed during a meeting to review half-yearly target which was chaired by Member Operations Commissioner Javed Ahmed at the PRA headquarters. The meeting was also informed that the Authority has collected Rs 12.11 billion in the month of December compared to Rs 7.7 billion in December last with a raise of 57 percent.
The Member Operations appreciated the efforts of the officers for collecting high tax revenue, saying the PRA is heading fast to achieve financial year's target.
