Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the US lackeys should shed self deception after US President Trump's persistent hostility towards Pakistan. According to media cell of JI from Mansoora, he was addressing the Pakistani community in Copan Hagan, Denmark on Wednesday.
Sirajul Haq said that the JI had always warned the nation about the US conspiracies but those taking Washington as their master and guide had been deceiving the people in this regard. He said that after destroying Iraq, the US invaded Afghanistan and thousands of American troops were still present in that country which confirmed US aggressive designs about Afghanistan. He said the US attitude was promoting warfare and lawlessness. However, he said, it would be better for Trump and the US policy makers to review their policies.
Sirajul Haq said that Pakistan had a long border with Afghanistan and the presence of US troops in Afghanistan was the major cause of unrest and insecurity in the region. The JI chief said that Trump's threats won't affect Pakistan. He said if the US had given any help to Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf and his companions should be asked to explain that as they had handled the amount. The US could not blame the Pakistani people for the misdeeds of its allies who ruled this country.
Sirajul Haq said that Trump's declaration of Jerusalem as Israel capital, invasion of other countries and threats to others, only showed his foolishness which was harmful for the US itself in the long run. Sirajul Haq said that the Pakistan government should not be frightened of the US threats. Instead, Washington should be told in clear terms that Pakistan was an independent and sovereign state and it could sell off its freedom and sovereignty for a few dollars. He said if the rulers did not see reason even at this stage and continued the attitude of US slavery; the nation would not tolerate them for long.
