Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has re-launched 'Colts Scheme' for squash players under the guidance of sportsman of the millennium Jahangir Khan. The launching ceremony, which was attended by Javed Miandad, Moin Khan, Olympian Salahuddin and others, was held at PIA headquarters here on Thursday.
Speaking to a media, Jahangir Khan, former world squash champion lamented over current sports situation in Pakistan, saying that: "We have talent and can turnaround current sports situation into achievement, if the things go on merit." Meanwhile, CEO PIA has assured airline's all-out support for the revival of squash in the country, saying that PIA would stand with our legends in their efforts for sports. PIA will induct some 14 to 15 players on merit after trails and they will be groomed by Jahangir Khan.
