Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has reportedly visited Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman's residence on Thursday evening and discussed political situation of Balochistan and the issue of FATA reforms with him.
According to some media reports, the Prime Minister met JUI-F chief in an effort to muster his party's support in the Balochistan Assembly due to political crisis in the province following resignations of provincial Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti as well as fisheries minister.
Speculations are rife in the federal capital that more ministers may tender resignations for in-house change to replace Sana Ullah Zehri with the persons of their choice as Chief Minister. The Prime Minister also discussed FATA reforms in detail. However, there was no official confirmation of the meeting till filing of this report.
