Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will visit Kasur today (Thursday) where he would go to the residence of deceased Zainab who was murdered, while he would also meet the families of Shoaib and Faizan who have lost their lives after police firing in Kasur. While talking to media here on Wednesday, PTI President Central Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan said that the incident has again proved the incapability and inefficiency of the Punjab government and the PTI has decided to take this issue seriously.
"The Central Punjab Chapter has given directions to the local leaders of District Kasur to hold protests at local level and put all their weight to pressurize the district administration to arrest the culprits as early as possible," he added.
Aleem said the present rulers are least concerned about the lives and properties of the masses; they are only concerned with their own interests. "This murder is an open challenge for the so-called good governance after which two more lives have been claimed due to the uncalled firing of police. This reminds us of the Model Town Incident," he added.
