British medical experts visit FJMU

The British senior medical experts on Friday visited Fatima Jinnah Medical University and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on the invitation of Vice Chancellor FJMU Professor Khalid Masood Gondal. Among the experts included Professor Peter Dziewulski, Director St Andrew's Centre for Burn and Plastic Surgery, Chelmsford UK, Dr Bruce Emerson, Consultant Anaesthetist and Burn Intensivist St Andrew's Centre for Burn Plastic Surgery, Chelmsford UK and S K Sen, Consultant Plastic and Burn Surgeon South Mead Hospital Bristol, UK
The purpose of the visit was consultation and collaboration for establishing a new sub specialty in plastic surgery in Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU). Professor Khalid Masood Gondal briefed the delegation about establishing the new sub specialties in plastic surgery, paediatric surgery, endocrinology and rheumatology in Fatima Jinnah Medical University. The British Delegation and Executive Director of Jinnah Burn Unit Professor Muazzam Nazir Tarrar assured their facilitation and collaboration for the establishment of plastic surgery unit.
