Presence of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari's close aide Qayyum Soomro on Saturday in Balochistan Assembly during voting to elect new chief minister has caught political commentators' attention. Growing terms between candidate of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) who was sworn in as Balochistan CM today(Saturday), Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and Asif Ali Zardari have been in the news for at least a year.
Zardari and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had claimed after ex-CM Sanaullah Zehri's resignation that the new leader of the House would be a PPP member. Commentators' have taken note of the fact that Zardari's close aide was sitting in the assembly as Bizenjo was voted in and had taken the passenger seat of new CM's car as he left for Governor House for swearing-in ceremony.
