Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has reportedly said that "political instability and mistrust in democracy will eventually hamper the process of progress and prosperity in the country". According to him, recent 'political game', orchestrated in Balochistan, will not certainly bring out positive developments for the province and the country. But he needs to identify who have orchestrated a "political game" against his party's chief minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri.
His assertion or question whether there was a precedent in the world that a member having the support of having only five members of the assembly ever became a chief minister will always remain unanswered if his party fails to identify who were actually behind the removal of the Nawab. But the PMN-N has to do some soul-searching before it chooses to play victimhood card. The party must decide whether or not the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif's strategy aimed at undermining the reputation of country's institutions is legitimate or not. Has it led to brightening party's electoral prospects? Secondly, the party must not lose sight of the fact that the Abdul Quddus Bizenjo of PML-Q received more than five votes to become chief minister of the province.
