As many as 19 tribesmen were injured in scuffle of two groups, took place in tyre market, main Landi Kotal bazaar, Khyber Agency on Monday. Political Tehsildar Shams-ul-Islam said that Baseer Khan group had monetary dispute with Haji Zarbullah group since long. Last day volunteers of both the parties confronted with each other in the bazaar and attacked one another with sticks, stones and fists.
As result 19 persons of both parties sustained multiple injuries and were shifted to Landi Kotal hospital for medical aid, the hospital sources while confirmed it said two persons were referred to Peshawar hospital due to precarious condition. Soon after an incident, the Khasadar troops moved to the site and controlled the situation.
