NTU Library organized a seminar on "Hands on Training on IEEE Xplore" in collaboration with Computer Science Department at National Textile University, Faisalabad here Monday. Dr. Zahid Rizwan, Dean Faculty of Sciences was the Chief Guest in opening ceremony and urged to the youth to acquire modern skills and proper usage of technologies to face the challenges of upcoming era.
Waqar Ahmad, Chairman of Computer Science Department was the Guest of Honor in closing ceremony and distributed certificates among the participants and shields to the resource persons. A large number of faculty members and students of Undergraduate, Postgraduate Programs and PhD scholars of each discipline attended the seminar on IEEE Xplore and HEC Digital Resources. University Librarian/HEC Digital Library Focal Person Mushtaq Ahmad presented the welcome address and said that digital resources are the need of the time and awareness of these resources is essential for research work. He specially thanks to the Honorable Rector Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain & Muhammad Rashid Pervez, Senior Manager Admin & Trainings from A & J Def Tek Consultant, Rawalpindi for their valuable support and guidance to organize this seminar.
