Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT), the country's largest students' organization, has initiated annual elections in all institutions across country to select its leadership/Nazim (President). In this regard, an election for the president slot was held in Karachi University and Abdul Ahad Talha, a student of MA Islamic Learning from KU, was elected as President IJT of Karachi University. The election was held on Monday in Physiology department of KU.
Spokesman for IJT KU, Affan Ahmed said that the meeting was attended by more than 500 members of IJT in KU. The meeting was chaired by Nazim-e-Karachi Hamza Muhammad Siddiqui. He said that Talha has been elected for one year and will be president of KU throughout the session 2018-19.-PR
