Sindh Wildlife Department has asked all hunters to stop shooting partridges, sand-grouse, quails, ducks, etc., because the hunting/shooting season 2017-18 that began from November 19, 2017 ended on January 21, 2018. The department called for conserving and protecting the population of bird species.
Meanwhile, bird watchers, conservatives and nature preservatives have also been advised to save nature and its habitats. The Sindh Wildlife Department warned the shooters, hunters and trappers to refrain from hunting; otherwise, cases under Section 17 and 33 would be registered for violation of Sindh Wildlife Protection Ordinance, 1972, against them and they would have to pay heavy fine and u undergo imprisonment.
