It makes me feel honoured to avail this opportunity to convey my gratitude to everyone whose contribution made this first-of-its-kind Mega Event in this once sleepy Town, a real success. Of the great association between the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) and M/s. China Overseas Ports Holding Company Ltd. (COPHCL), this historic initiative to open up Gwadar Port and Gwadar Free Zone to the world was materialized.
The aims and objectives of holding the Gwadar Expo - 2018 are to highlight the significance of Gwadar and to promote Gwadar Port and Gwadar Free Zone as emerging business hub; to create maximum awareness about full scope of Gwadar Projects; to provide a platform of interaction between local, regional and international business entrepreneurs and to bring financiers, investors, entrepreneurs and governmental authorities to exploit the benefits of this mega project for enhanced investment, trade and employment opportunities.
On behalf of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Government of Pakistan I would like to extend my felicitations to the management and the employees of the GPA and COPHCL for working night and day in making this epoch-making event a real success.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt greetings to the exhibitors, the dignitaries, the diplomatic missions and the government authorities and also to the Members of Parliament, the national and international press corps and social and public representatives for coming all the way from far off places to make their presence conspicuous in the Gwadar Expo - 2018.
