Haji Razzak Janoo Memorial Trust will organize free laser eye camps with collaboration of Pakistan Navy in Gawadar and Ormara. This will be 259th & 260th eye camp by the largest family trust for the cure of eye disease and will be held during 4th to 7th February, 2018.
These camps will provide free medical treatments to underprivileged and Free Laser surgeries will also be undertaken under the supervision of prominent eye surgeons. Lenses of world renowned Swiss company Alcon will be used in laser surgeries.
In this regard, a meeting of the Chairman and Trustees of the Memorial Trust was held with Rear Admiral Moazzam Ilyas (Hilal Imtiaz Military) Commander Coast, Pakistan Navy at his office. During the meeting, matters regarding arrangements of these eye camps were discussed. Abdul Rahim Janoo, Chairman of the Trust also proposed to hold another Free Eye camp in Jati (Sindh) with the support of Pakistan Navy.
Abdul Rahim Janoo has informed the Trust that Pakistan Navy is providing all transportation facilities from Karachi to Gawadar and Ormara, whereas all other expenses will be borne by the Trust.
He said that Trust has already organized 258 Free Laser Eye Camps in many cities of Pakistan as well as in Bangladesh also. "We provide free medicines as well as free food to the patients and their attendants during our Eye camps and till now approximately 2.50 million patients were treated in OPDs and approx 100,000 laser surgeries have been done by Pakistan's prominent Eye Surgeons," he added.
Recently, we have been given these two new venues by Pakistan Navy and our aim is to provide free of cost and world class state of the art modern treatments to deprived humanity and poor peoples of our country who cannot afford to bear the medical expenses, he said. Janoo thanked the Pakistan Navy for their collaboration with Haji Razzak Janoo Memorial Trust.
