As many as people drowned on Thursday after a pickup plunged into Ghizer River at Hopar area. Rescue teams arrived at the scene immediately and shifted the bodies to District Headquarter (DHQ) hospital Gahkoch. As per details, the deceased were returning to their homes after three-day tableeghi visit. All the seven people belonged to the same village Hatoon. Their bodies were sent to their native village for burial after post-mortem.
Earlier, at least four people were killed and 15 other sustained injuries when a passenger coach collided with a car in Ghuncha Dhory area of Lakpass near Quetta.
