London: European stocks rebounded slightly at the start of trading Friday following massive losses the previous session.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index gained 0.7 percent to 6,747.67 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.6 percent to 10,876.34 points and the Paris CAC 40 rose 0.7 percent to 4,813.62.
Europe's main markets plunged more than three percent on Thursday, hit by concerns over the US economic outlook and a fresh spike in US-China trade tensions.
