KP Governor Engr Iqbal Zafar Jhagra chaired the 5th Senate meeting of the Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak here at Governor House, Peshawar on Tuesday. Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr Jehan Bakht, Principal Secretary to Governor, Munir Azam, Secretary Higher Education and other members of the Senate also attended the meeting. Budget of the university for the fiscal year 2016-17 was also approved in the meeting.
The governor further added that merit and transparency plays important role in development of institutions. Earlier, the vice chancellor of the university apprised the governor about the working of the university and salient features of the budget in detail.
