NED University of Engineering & Technology hosted a LOTTE Scholarship Foundation Awarding ceremony held on January 18, 2018 at their own venue. The event had a great turn out where students were awarded scholarships from Lotte Scholarship Foundation, South Korea.
The auspicious occasion was graced by the Korean Consulate General Kim Dong Gi, NED Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Sarosh Hashmat Lodi, Chief Executive Lotte Chemical Humair Ijaz, Director Lotte Chemical, Sang Hyeon Lee, Chief Executive Lotte Kolson, Abdul Latif and numerous distinguished guests from NED, Lotte Chemical and Lotte Kolson.
In his speech, Kim Dong Gi expressed his support and cooperation in light of knowledge sharing and strengthening bi-lateral relations between Pakistan and Korea. Professor Lodi appreciated his gesture and believed to reinforce student exposure in the industry for gaining practical experience.
The purpose of these scholarships was to encourage students for their efforts towards academic excellence. The scholarships were awarded on merit basis to twelve deserving students who belonged to Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical and Chemical departments at NED.-PR
