Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has barred Chairman, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan from addressing a public meeting ahead of by-election in Lodhran on Friday. According to details, the Election Commission has stopped Khan from addressing a public meeting as part of the party's electioneering for the upcoming by-polls in NA-154 in Lodhran. ECP has sent the notification to party's candidate Ali Tareen, son of ousted MNA Jahangir Khan Tarin.
The PTI is set to flex its political muscle in Lodhran in connection with the by-election of NA-154 slated for February 12. According to the ECP, 328 polling stations have been set up in the constituency for 431,002 registered voters. As many as 338 presiding officers and 1,043 assistant presiding officers will perform duties on 1,043 polling booths.
