Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority ( TEVTA) Board of Members 62th meeting held here on Friday suggest for third party monitoring of interest free loans. The meeting was held at TEVTA secretariat which was presided over by Chairman TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh where as other members including Syed Yawar Ali, Rahmat Ullah Javed, Dr Asim Qadri, Kiran Dar, Muhammad Ismail Khurram, Azhar Iqbal Sheikh, Rehan Nasim, Nilofar Sikandar and COO Nasir Iqbal were also present.
While addressing the board members, Chairman TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Shiekh said that TEVTA's interest free loan project is running successfully across the Punjab.
He said to ensure transparency in the project now it is decided that it should be monitored through third party. He said that this step will further enhance students trust in this project. Chairman said that management of district boards should be independent.
