Meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) of University of Sindh was held at Vice Chancellor's office on Monday with SU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat in the chair. The meeting approved award of PhD degrees to nine scholars and M Phil degrees to 18 scholars. The PhD degrees awarded to Muhammad Saeed Pathan and Muhammad Aijaz Sabir Khan (Urdu), Muniza Malik (Psychology), Tasawar Ali Chandio and Salma Aslam Arain (Analytical Chemistry), Saifullah Abro and Abdul Majeed Mangrio (Botany), Nadir Ali Rind (Genetic Engineering) and Shabbir Ahmed Kalhoro (Geology).
The M Phil degrees awarded to Zain-ul-Abdin Baloch (Education), Sumera Aslam Rajput and Mehwish Jamali (Business Administration), Suria Khaskheli (Commerce), Zameer Hussain Baladi (Library and Information Sciences), Rajkumar Menghwar, Aisha Kanwal Pathan and Kanwal Memon (Analytical Chemistry), Waseem Ahmed Memon (Computer Science), Abdul Manan Pathan (Environmental Sciences), Bashir Ahmed Mahar and Mubark Zaib (Microbiology), Irfan (Physics), Nabil Kousar and Zoya Saleh (Zoology). SU Registrar Sajid Qayoom Memon, Director Graduate Studies, Dr Ashique Hussain and ASRB members also attended the meeting.
