PEPCO to promote 24 officers

The Promotion Board of Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) is due to promote officers from Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) and other distribution companies (DISCOs). As many as 24 officers of all the DISCOs would be promoted to grade 19 after evaluation by the Board. Sources said the Board has sought details of all the officers from the DISCOs. Meanwhile, details of all pending inquiries against these officers have also been sought by the Board. They added that the Board would upgrade officers on the basis of their qualifications of MSc and PhDs.
Meeting of the Board is due in next few days and the promoted officers would be transferred to other companies from their mother companies.
