L&DDDP to supply pure, fresh camel milk to consumers

The Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab has made special arrangements to supply the pure and fresh "Camel Milk" in the market in a organized manner for the use of the consumers which is 100% organic milk.
This was informed by Director Livestock Dr Muhammad Nawaz Malik while talking to the newsmen here on Friday. He said that camel milk was a gift of the nature which was being provided in the market in a safe packing of one liter plastic bottle after transportation from Cholistan.
He maintained that the supply of organic milk of Camel project had been introduced by Secretary Livestock Punjab Nasim Sadiq which is revolutionary step of Livestock department as it was being introduced in the market in organized manner first time in the history of Pakistan and Punjab. Adding he said that the Camel Milk would be available in the city initially on 14 outlets of Super Ideal Bakery and SB Department Stores.
Giving the benefits of the camel milk, the Director Livestock informed that the camel milk was very beneficial for human consumption specially for the diabetic, rheumatic patients as it possessed three times more Vitamin C then Cow's Milk and 10 time higher in Iron besides lower cholesterol then cow or goats milk. He said that the camel milk was high unsaturated fatty acids and Vitamin B. It is lower lactose then cow's milk, low in fat and light on stomach, he added.
The Director said that the Camel Milk contented with high mineral, immunoglobulin which is an anti- body used by the immune system to identify and naturalize bacteria and viruses. The Camel Milk packs a bunch of qualities and wears the healthy hollow comfortably and place and important role of several neurological disorders and alternative medicines for the autistic children because its anti-inflammatory properties are known to improve the brain function, the Director Livestock elaborated.
He said that the Camel Milk in the name of "Anmole Milk" was being supplied and packed under the scientific supervision of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences experts. He urged upon the consumers for using the organic Camel Milk as it was not a complete diet but was a treatment and Sunnat-e-Nabvi of its use. He appreciated the strenuous efforts of Secretary Livestock for the development and promotion of livestock sector in the province.
