Security forces on Monday foiled a major terror bid in Bajaur Agency and killed two suicide bombers during operation. According to reports, on a tip-off, the security forces conducted a successful raid in Gutki area of Mamoond district. The suicide bombers who came from Afghanistan were trying to move towards agency headquarters Khar.
One of them opened fire on the forces and was killed in retaliation while the other blew himself. Security forces have recovered a suicide jacket, hand-grenade, pistol, remote and Afghanistan's mobile sim from the attackers. Both the bodies were shifted to agency headquarter hospital in Khar. Following the incident, security at the entry and exit points of Bajaur Agency was tightened.
