Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that his party is willing to address the issue of judicial reforms but has doubts regarding intentions of the ruling party. "We want to address the issues relating to judicial reforms but Nawaz's intentions are doubtful," he said, adding that Nawaz doesn't want judicial reforms. "He only wants a judiciary of the PML-N."
He was speaking to the media after visiting the residence of late Asma Jahangir on Wednesday afternoon. He criticised the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's chief for his onslaught against the judiciary and said it is unfathomable that why Nawaz would act as if he were in the opposition while enjoying power in the centre, Punjab and Azad Kashmir.
"Stop crying, do you work...people want their issues resolved," he asserted. It may be noted that Bilawal also visited Asma Jahangir's residence last year on her invitation. It was a closed door meeting where intellectuals and human rights activists were invited to attend and share their ideas on revival of PPP under Bilawal Bhutto.
