General Manager Operations, Gujranwala Electric Power Company Haroon Rashid retired from service on Friday after reaching the age of superannuation. Senior officers of GEPCO held a function to pay tribute to Haroon Rashid's outstanding services for the electricity distribution company and over 3 million consumers of the region. CEO GEPCO Muhammad Zahid Saleem, DG. HR and Admin Anwar Saeed, Director Finance Ayaz Ahmad, Chief Engineers Junaid Akhtar, Gazanffar Abbas Rizvi, Muhammad Riaz Bilal Ahmad and other senior officers attended the send of function.
In his speech CEO GEPCO Muhammad Zahid Saleem eulogizing meritorious services of the retiring engineer said that Haroon Rashid was a symbol of professionalism, dedication and honesty, The distribution company greatly benefited from his technical skills, devotion to duty and public service.
Haroon Rashid thanked his colleagues for their willing cooperation round the clock that helped him perform his duties as General Manager operations in this very demanding and essential region that houses about 64 percent of the nation's small and medium size enterprises.
