Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said establishment was main hurdle in the way of JUI-F to reach the power corridors. He was addressing conference organised under the auspices of Jamiat Tulba-e-Islam (JTI) here on Wednesday. Maulana Fazl said JUI-F holds huge public meetings which were largely attended by the people that spoke of growing popularity of the party across the country.
He said Western forces were trying to target seminaries which are the back bone of Islam and Pakistan adding that current PTI led coalition provincial government in KP was perusing the agenda of anti Islam forces to eliminate the role of seminaries. He said the provincial government was trying to buy Pesh Imams (prayer leaders) by paying them monthly stipends which he claimed the Pesh Imams have rejected.
