Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi on Wednesday appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) regional office in Lahore. Moonis Elahi, who is son of former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, remained at the NAB regional headquarters for about one hour. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Moonis Elahi on Wednesday to record his statement for allegedly establishing offshore companies, mentioned in the Panama Papers.
The sources said that Moonis Elahi has been summoned for the second time. After appearing before the NAB, Moonis said they respect institutions and will go again if called by the NAB. He said that the NAB had called him on a day's notice and he had immediately responded by visiting the NAB office Wednesday.
