Ambassador of China to Pakistan Yao Jing on Friday conveyed a message to young Pakistani students that current developing relations and collaboration between China and Pakistan in the field of education could be termed as China Pakistan Education Corridor. He expressed these views during Chinese New Year and Spring Festival celebrations and inauguration of China Radio International CRI-Millennium Confucius Classroom Library at Roots Millennium School One World Campus E-11/4, Islamabad.
Ambassador Yao Jing shared his views about the upcoming events and said in his speech that students must think freely and they should be engaged in physical activities which play a key role in mental and physical growth. "In 2009, I was present on the Launching of Chinese Language initiative by Roots Millennium Schools. This Chinese Language initiative has blossomed and the Millennium Roots Schools have strengthened with the growing number of students learning Chinese Language. The current relation of China and Pakistan has been rightly said by Chaudhary Faisal Mushtaq that CPEC is part of the Collaboration rather it is China Pakistan Education Corridor. He emphasized on providing scholarship and exchange programs for students.
The Ambassador of China was warmly welcomed by the Founder & CEO Millennium Chinese Language Department Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq TI, Director Sabina Zakir, Head of the Chinese Language Program Mona Kanwal at the venue where the ethnic sounds and showering petals embraced his arrival.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude to be invited and honoured Millennium Roots Schools by inaugurating of the CRI-Millennium Confucius Library, the only School to possess the privilege to be gifted China's knowledge bank in shape of Chinese books.
The Ambassador witnessed various ethic and traditional performances by young Millennials, alongside Shaheen, from China Radio International. The Chinese teaching faculty graced the entire show of skill and confidence and enjoyed the spirit of festivity that was exhibited by the Learners of various age groups.
CRI-Roots Confucius Classroom offers Chinese language classes across the Roots Millennium Schools, in the private sector, with the aim of allowing the students to speak and write Chinese as proficiently as possible. Millennium Chinese Language Department has now 18 full time teachers and nearly 8500 students learning Chinese language. This has promoted cultural, social, business and educational opportunities among China and Pakistan for the benefit of our future generations.
