KARACHI: The Sindh Excise and Taxation department in collaboration with the Sindh police is going to launch a special campaign against the vehicles, which are being plied on the roads on open-letter.
The decision to this effect was made in a meeting chaired by Sindh Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control and Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar Chawla in his office here on Tuesday, said a press release.
Director General Excise and Taxation Shabbir Ahmed Shaikh informed the meeting that for special drive against vehicles plying with open letter, seven officers in districts South, City ,Central, East, Korangi West and Malir have been assigned to assist the Sindh Police.
Secretary Excise and Taxation Narcotics Control Abdul Rahim Shaikh, Director Generals Shabbir Ahmed Shaikh, Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui and other notables also attended the meeting.
