Federal Minister for Privatisation Daniyal Aziz has claimed that the joint investigation team (JIT) on Panama Papers case had misled judiciary. Speaking at a press conference here on Wednesday, Aziz claimed that UK forensic expert Robert Radley has already revealed during a hearing of supplementary reference in the Avenfield case against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that the Calibri font was in existence in 2005. He said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan is now trying to mould the case in some other direction.
Meanwhile, State Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that time period given by the Supreme Court was initially six months which has been completed. Four references had been filed along with additional references but they could not bring up anything against Nawaz Sharif up till date, he claimed.
