The Met Office has forecast rain-thundershowers for the most parts of upcountry from next Monday. A westerly wave is reaching the country to trigger rain-thundershowers in upper and central parts from Monday night which will continue to persist over Malakand Division, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir until Thursday. The new weather system is expected to unleash scattered rain-thundershowers with gusty winds and snowfall over the hills are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Upper Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Tuesday and Wednesday intermittently.
