I would like to extend heartiest congratulation to the Office Bearers of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) for holding 10th All Pakistan Chambers Presidents' Conference (APCPCI) Gwadar - 2018 from March 11 to March 14, 2018 which will provide a perfect opportunity to the entire business and industrial community of Pakistan to see the developments on the ground and get awareness about the future prospects of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
It is really heartening to note that Rawalpindi Chamber has been successfully organizing All Pakistan Chambers Conference and trade associations since last nine consecutive years by bringing the Presidents of all Chambers of the country under one roof to deliberate on numerous issues being faced by the economy and to give valuable suggestions on how to deal with the same.
The aim of this year's conference is to develop a common platform for all Chambers to collectively raise economic issues at national level, provide suggestions to the government related to trade policy, business environment and all other issues directly or indirectly affecting the businesses and industrial activities.
The participants of 10th All Pakistan Chambers Presidents' Conference (APCPCI) Gwadar - 2018 will be discussing CPEC and its possible impacts on Inter and Intra-Regional trade, connectivity and regional trade integration, Trade and Investment opportunities in Pakistan, Inter-regional trade barriers (Tariff and non-Tariff barriers) and settlement of international trade disputes.
I am sure that this Conference would not only bring Chambers closer but would also cause strengthening bonds amongst them. This Conference would certainly enlighten the participants about the potential of Pakistan's most vital project and help in further identifying areas where improvements are required and the recent developments in this regard. It would also enable the stakeholders to know what has been done so far and what else needs to be done in future in order to benefit from CPEC.
I wish success to the Conference organized by RCCI and hope that sharing of views and experiences by experts will be fruitful and beneficial for the entire country.
