President Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Punjab Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Monday that the PPP had achieved the target of securing Chairman Senate seat with the help of its allies. He was talking to media after the victory of Sadiq Sanjrani as Chairman Senate against PML-N's Raja Zafarul Haq. He said credit goes to all allies of the PPP including the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf for showing solidarity in securing the seat of Chairman Senate.
He expressed the hope that the PPP would also deliver in the next general elections.
