A city magistrate on Monday sent to jail to three person accused of throwing shoe at Nawaz Sharif on 14-day judicial remand. Qila Gujjar Singh police produced three accused Abdul Ghafoor, Munawr Hussain and Muhammad Sajid over charges of hurling shoe at Nawaz Sharif during his visit of Jamia Naeemia in Ghari Shahu.
Police pleaded for judicial remand saying that no investigation was required into the matter of the accused. At this, the court allowed the plea and sent them to the jail.
