Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has divulged that he received another letter purportedly from suspended SSP Malir Rao Anwaar. In his letter, Anwaar has requested the court to unfreeze his bank accounts. Rao is the main accused in Naqeebullah murder case. Naqeebullah Mehsud had been residing in Karachi since 2008 and was gunned down in a fake encounter. He was allegedly apprehended by police in Karachi on January 02, 2018 and was murdered on January 17, 2018.
The Chief Justice, heading a three-member bench, said he is not sure whether this letter is fake or real.
