Pakistan Awami Tehreek-e-Inqilab (PATI) Chairman Professor Aftab Lodhi has requested the Supreme Court (SC) to take charge of good governance in the country. Speaking at a ceremony, Professor Aftab Lodhi said that loans were mounting at a rapid rate due to projects worth billions of rupees and the nation had no confidence in any other institution except Supreme Court and Pak Army.
He said 'good governance' was visible only in the government advertisements worth billions of rupees. He requested the honourable Supreme Court to take charge of 'good governance' till the process of accountability was finalized and to impose economic emergency like Saudi Arabia to reclaim all national wealth in foreign banks. He said the whole nation especially the masses were leading a life of abject despair and poverty.
