Over Rs 42.426 billion recovered by Sindh Excise Department

Sindh Excise Department on Tuesday claimed to have recovered over Rs 42.426 billion during last eight months in current financial year, depicting 13 percent growth as compared to corresponding period collection of Rs 37.293 billion.
According to official statistics, the revenue collection of Rs 4669.220 million were recovered on account of Motor Vehicle Tax while Rs 32.530 billion were collected against Infra Structure Cess, Rs 275.159 million as Professions Tax, Rs 168.588 million as Cotton Fee, Rs 1.502 billion as Property Tax and Rs 35.275 million as Entertainment Duty, while the remaining amount were recovered in other heads.
