The Accountability Court on Tuesday decided to indict President National Bank Saeed Ahmed and two other accused on March 27 in a reference related to the assets of former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. The Accountability Court judge while hearing corruption case against Dar rejected Saeed Ahmed's plea seeking dismissal of supplementary reference and decided to indict Ahmed and two other accused Mansoor Raza Rizvi and Naeem Mehmood on March 27.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on February 27 filed a supplementary reference against Dar that comprises fresh evidences. The supplementary reference consists of seven volumes, 24 witnesses and three new accused including Ahmad, Mansoor Raza Rizvi and Naeem Mehmood directors of Dar's Hajveri Modaraba companies.
