The economic evolution started from industrialization and after passing through electronic stage, it has now jumped to the Information Technology (IT) with domination of social media to promote businesses and in this connection an institution is being established to impart practical training to more than 1 million young students in the field of social media.
Addressing a function in Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) here on Tuesday, a US-based IT (Information Technology) professional and business trainer Muhammad Siddque said that the scope of IT should be expanded to further widen the business activity. He said that the proposed institution will provide training to youth in IT to specifically utilize this tool for the marketing and promotion of diversified businesses.
"This technology has potential to provide an opportunity to youth as well as young girls to work from their houses and earn thousands of dollars without physically moving to the offices", he added.
Continuing, Muhammad Siddque said that best seller of a product is its customer who will first himself use it and then explicitly explain its salient features to others inclined to use it.
He also underlined the need for the recruitment of productive workers and said that a person with diversification experience should be selective instead of choosing a worker who had worked in a single organization for 20 long years.
He said that all basic commitments should be honored in time and in according the agreed specification to stay in the business as a successful and trust worthy seller.
Earlier, President FCCI Shabbir Hussain Chawla said that social media is one of the most effective tool to reach to the masses with a click of figure.
He also underlined the training of Pakistani youth so that they could learn to serve in an international environment.
Later, Vice President Mian Usman Rauf presented FCCI shield to Muhammad Siddque.
The meeting was also attended by former president FCCI Engineer Sohail Bin Rashid, Chaudhary Muhammad Nawaz, Rana Sikander Azam, Dr Habib Aslam Ghaba and others.
