Provincial Minister Industries Commerce & Trade Sheikh Alla-uddin on Saturday inaugurated the two-day exhibition "Made in Faisalabad" here at the Expo Center Lahore. Speaking on the occasion, the Industries minister said that Faisalabad is known as "Manchester of Asia" for its extensive development of textile industry. Ambassador of Nepal Sewa Lamsal, Ambassador of Indonesia Iwan Saudhi, President FCCI Shabir Hussain Chawla, Senior President Farooq Yousuf, Chairman FIDMC Mian Muhammad Idrees were also present on the occasion.
He said the Punjab government has taken various revolutionary steps to strengthen the local industry across the province. The establishment of Tianjin University by the Punjab government will prove a great step to protect local industry, he added.
