Comedian Kapil Sharma ties the knot

Indian comedian Kapil Sharma married his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath in Jalandhar last night. Kapil treated fans with a picture of himself with her bride from the ceremony.

Congratulatory messages are pouring in for the newlyweds. Celebs like Hina Khan, Guru Randhawa, Jassie Gill and others have posted their best wishes for the couple. “God bless you both. All the very best for this new journey and congratulations,” wrote Hina Khan.

Many comedians, singers, actors attended Kapil’s wedding celebrations. The who's who of the television industry included Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, singers Richa Sharma, Dr Zeus, and actors Sumona Chakroborty, Rajiv Thakur, Roshan Prince, amongst others were seen during the event.

Kapil and Ginni’s wedding comes after other celebrity weddings such as Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas and Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh’s nuptials.

The wedding will be followed by a reception in Mumbai on December 24.
