‘Simmba’: Bollywood recreate yet another old classic of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Last week, makers of ‘Simmba’ dropped the first peppy song called ‘Aankh Marey’ from the film. Today, a new romantic track called ‘Tere Bin’ is out and surprisingly, both the songs are the remake of some old classic.
This time it's a remake of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's classic ‘Tere Bin Nahin Lagda’. The only good about this version is that music composer Tanishk Bagchi didn't change the tune much or added his own interpretation, which makes this new version closer to the original song.
Sharing the song, Karan Johar wrote, “This one is bound to serenade everyone!”.
Meanwhile, the first song ‘Aankh Marey’ was a remix of the ‘90s hit of the same name from the film ‘Tere Mere Sapne’. The song also has a cameo by ‘Golmaal’ cast including Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Shreyas Talpade.
‘Simmba’ stars Ranveer as a hot-headed but corrupt cop, who is ready to sell his soul for money. He transforms after he witnesses the gruesome reality of rape. Sonu Sood will be seen in the role of the antagonist, while Sara plays his love interest.
The movie will hit theatre on December 28.
